Sue Maskaleris - Grammy-Nominated Pianist, Arranger, and Producer

Pianist, singer, composer, lyricist, arranger and producer Sue Maskaleris has performed worldwide solo and as bandleader for over three decades. Her CD, Unbreakable Heart, features jazz legends Eddie Gomez, Lenny White, Mark Murphy and others on her songs and has received airplay worldwide. Sue's follow up CD is nearly done. She has a seemingly endless repertoire of songs and styles, but Brazilian jazz and jazz are her favorites. Her music has been the ticket to such remote ports as Easter Island, Oman, Vietnam and hundreds more. She has worked in fine hotels in Ireland, Switzerland and throughout Sweden. NYC favorites include Damrosch Park, the Blue Note, Iridium. Stateside: Colony Hotel in Palm Beach, Spoleto Festival, SC, and clubs in Georgia and California. Among composers Sue has worked with: Bacharach, Taj Mahal; jazz legends she has backed up include Annie Ross and Abbey Lincoln; Broadway stars LaChanze, Lillias White; and movie/TV stars Cybill Shepherd and Philip Michael Thomas. Sue has played electric violin, Brazilian guitar, 5-string bass and sings in 6 languages.
