The lawn opens at 5:00pm for blankets and picnicking. Films begin at sunset (typically between 8pm and 9pm).

The Wizard of Oz

Lively and entertaining commentary on the classic movie of the night. The Word for Word Reel Talks program features author Scott Adlerberg and film scholar Foster Hirsch discussing the merits and demerits of this film classic. For a reserved seat in the Reel Talks section, pre-register below:

Free Classes in the Park

Tai Chi and Eternal Spring are instructed by members of the Tai Chi Chuan Center for all ages and experience levels.

Classes are rain or shine.

 

In celebration of the 2012 Olympic Games, Tide is honoring the stories behind our country's colors with the My Story. Our Flag. Project.

Tide asked people across the country: "What Do the Red, White and Blue Mean to You?"

Thousands of stories have been collected and printed on pieces of red, white, and blue fabric to create a 13,000 square foot artistic interpretation of the American flag.

The flag is on view in the park from 8am - 8pm.

Meow-a-long with Cali Co Cat and hear fun tails and jokes to boot.

 

Get an up-close visit with exotic birds from the Arcadia Bird Sanctuary and Education Center.

Sanctuary Director, Terri Jones, and her sociable, people-friendly birds can be found near Le Carrousel every Tuesday this summer, weather permitting.

Stop by to watch, ask questions, interact with the birds, or just take pictures.
