Join The Rise NYC, a community-driven pop-up fitness group, for a Boot Camp on the Fountain Terrace, on the Sixth Avenue side of the park. Rotations through exercises like crunches, planks, push-ups, burpees, and mountain climbers ensure a mixture of cardio and strength training that will keep you coming back--and seeing results. 

No equipment necessary; smiles and high-fives encouraged. Rain or shine.

Join us for an enjoyable walking tour of Bryant Park, and discover how Bryant Park Corporation successfully transformed "Needle Park" of the 1970s into Manhattan's Town Square of today. Our guides are loaded with expertise on the park's rich history, award-winning design, distinct amenities, and ongoing maintenance efforts.

Registration is required. Click here to register with Eventbrite. Please arrive at the Fountain by 10:55am to check-in with the guide. Tour will depart promptly at 11am.

FAQs

What is your cancellation policy?
Tours will continue as scheduled in light rain, but will be cancelled in heavy rain or inclement weather.

How large are tour groups?
Tours are capped at 20 participants. Please contact tours@urbanmgt.com if you plan to attend with a group larger than six people.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No need!

Work up a sweat on the Rink with an on-ice circuit workout. Expect exercises used by figure and hockey skaters that will make you a better skater. Please register at Eventbrite.

Class starts promptly at 8am. We recommend that you arrive at least 20 minutes early to check-in, put on your skates, and stow your belongings in a locker. You may bring your own skates and lock; skate rental is $20 per person and locks are $10.

Showers and towels are not provided. 

This class is recommended for competent skaters. If you're interested in free skating lessons, check out our Lunch Break Lessons

The Rink is open to the public during Exerskate sessions.

The Rink is closed for the Tree Lighting Skate-tacular Rehearsal from 6:45pm-10pm. The rink will reopen on Friday, December 2 at 8am.

The Lights Before Christmas

Tree Lighting Skate-tacular is an original holiday tale about a very special family on the night before Christmas.

Internationally acclaimed figure skaters perform as some of the story's characters: Johnny Weir, two-time Olympian and first-ever Winter Village Skating Ambassador performs as Santa. Reigning world champion Javier Fernandez and the world's top-ranked ice dancing team, Kaitlyn Weaver and Andrew Poje, play the roles of everyday New Yorkers. Kimmie Meissner, former Olympian and 2006 World Champion skater, and The Haydenettes, the reigning 24-time U.S. National Champion synchronized skating team, round out the star-studded cast. The skaters perform to live Christmas music played by the authentically swinging New York City big band, Lapis Luna, accompanied by custom video animation and audience-interactive giveaways.

After the beautiful 50-foot Norway Spruce is lit during a sparkling fireworks display, the rink will open again to public skating accompanied by Lapis Luna performing an additional hour-long concert of holiday favorites and glittering standards.

Tree Lighting Skate-tacular honors the efforts of (RED) and their mission to eradicate AIDS in Sub-Saharan Africa. This spectacular holiday event is made possible by Bank of America.
