Enjoy world class performances on our lawn
Bryant Park Picnics are an accessible and inviting way to experience New York City’s incredible performing arts.
The series includes Contemporary Dance, Shakespeare, Accordions Around the World, New York City Opera, and Emerging Music Festival, as well as two new partnerships with renowned New York arts institutions. Carnegie Hall Citywide offers five concerts featuring outstanding classical, blues, Latin, gospel, and world music artists. American Ballet Theatre hosts A Night of Ballet, featuring a ballet master class and a discussion with ABT principal dancers.
At each Picnic, Bryant Park provides over 200 blankets to borrow, and Hester Street Fair curates local food vendors. Beer and wine are available for purchase, and the grass is dotted with jugglers and supersized games.
Grab a blanket, get comfortable, and enjoy the show!
All Picnics events are free and open to the public. No tickets, no lines. Come as you are and leave when you please.
At every Picnics event, the park lends out over 200 blankets. Borrow one for free at our green Park Shop + Info tent. Or bring your own, but remember that plastic tarps are not allowed on the Lawn.
