Operated by Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group, Public Fare is a fine-casual eatery that pops up on the northeast corner of The Rink during Winter Village. Public Fare serves an array of seasonal pastries, sandwiches and snacks with a coffee bar in the morning that transitions to wine and cocktails in the evening.
Public Fare cuisine is crafted by Executive Chef John Karangis, who began his New York culinary career in the kitchen at Union Square Cafe, and went on to work in acclaimed kitchens such as Gramercy Tavern and Square One in San Francisco. With his return to USHG, John brings his passion for excellence and hospitality to the Public Fare team.
