Chess & Backgammon

The Chess Area, located in the 40th Street Plaza, provides the public with an opportunity to play chess and backgammon for free. Games can be arranged through the monitor, and chess tournaments take place throughout the summer. Free chess lessons are available on weekdays from our resident expert.

Chess is great fun for a birthday party. You bring the cake and we’ll provide group lessons, chess problems or a mini-tournament. To inquire about availability and fees, email celebrate@urbanmgt.com.
