The Green

The Green is located along 6th Avenue in the southwest corner of the park. Featuring Putting and Kubb, the Green opened in May 2013 bringing Bryant Park's games tally to over 30. Both games are staffed daily and have free equipment available for public use. Come alone or with a group – we're happy to connect you with partners for a competitive match.

The Green will close at 5pm on September 19, 20 and 23.
The Green will be closed on September 21. Please join us that day for cornhole and more at the Bryant Park Square Dance!

Putting Green

Our five holed green is open to all - perfect for the seasoned player looking to hone their game, accessible enough for beginners, and also kid-friendly. Stop by to practice your technique, perfect your distance and speed, or simply putt for fun. The putting green has varying gradients, so approach your putt from a different angle and countless challenges await you. Golf balls and clubs are provided free of charge. You are also welcome to bring your own equipment.

Want to compete for prizes and the pride of calling yourself the champion of Bryant Park's Putting Green? The inaugural Bryant Park Putting Championships take place this August. Participate in one of three weekly lunchtime tournaments for the chance to earn a spot in the Championship Round on August 22.

Kubb

Hailing from Scandinavia, you can now learn Kubb at the Green at Bryant Park. Similar to lawn bowling, the object of Kubb is to knock over your opponent's blocks with wooden pins. The first person to accurately hit all five of their opponents Kubbs and then take out the King wins the game. Think it sounds easy? Come to the Green, where our games attendant can teach to play, and partner you up for friendly games.
