Bryant Park Moves with Limón Dance
Beginning this Saturday, the sound of drums returns to the northeast corner of Bryant Park’s Lawn as Bryant Park Moves with Limón Dance returns for its ninth season.
Drums provide rhythm and a beat for participants employing the Limón technique to stay fit and experience the joy of dancing. Sessions are conducted by instructors from Limón Dance Company, who emphasize “natural rhythms of fall and recovery and the interplay between weight and weightlessness to provide dancers with an organic approach to movement that easily adapts to a range of choreographic styles.”
Bryant Park Moves with Limón Dance meets at the northeast corner of the Lawn on Saturdays, 10am–11am, June 1 through September 28. All classes are free and open to people of all ages and skill levels.
