Contemporary Dance Coming Soon

Dance aficionados should save the date because the season opener for Contemporary Dance is set for Friday, June 22. For five consecutive Fridays, we’re presenting two exciting contemporary dance companies, performing back-to-back on the Bryant Park Stage.

As with all Bryant Park Picnics events, everyone is invited to spread a blanket out on the Lawn - we lend out 250 of them on a first-come, first-serve basis at the Park Shop & Info Tent - and enjoy a selection of foods for purchase curated by Hester Street Fair. There is also beer and wine for purchase.

Admission is free and open to all, and you can come and go as you please. While you’re here, learn to juggle or enjoy free lawn games including corn hole, giant Jenga, hula hoops, and more.  

Contemporary Dance is on Fridays, 6pm–8pm, from June 22 through July 19.
