Sketch and Paint Night on September 4

Wednesday, September 4 is a red-letter date for people who like to enjoy a beverage while exploring their artistic side, because Bryant Park is holding the first-ever Sketch and Paint Night offering everyone the opportunity to do both, while also getting advice from professional artists.  

From 4pm-7pm, Grand Central Atelier hosts a drop-in Figure Drawing class on the Lawn. Everyone’s welcome to come by, for a few minutes or for the entire session, and hone their skills in an informal environment.

Then from 6pm-8pm, our partner La Pittura Studio hosts a giant Paint and Sip class, also on the Lawn. There are precisely 100 spots for this event, so if you want to attend, please pre-register online here (pre-registration opens at 10am on August 21).

This will be a festive evening. Besides beer and wine for purchase provided by Ark Restaurants, we’ll be lending out blankets to sit on, and free games will dot the Lawn.
