Emerging Music Festival

Emerging Music Festival returns for its fourth year with rising New York-based bands performing on one of the biggest stages of their young careers. Thousands of music lovers pack the Bryant Park lawn for the city’s best new music, including indie rock, soul, R&B, singer-songwriter, and more.

Lineup:

5pm: Madison McFerrin, Making A Cappella cool again - Pitchfork
6pm: Plastic Picnic, Plastic Picnic brings eighties neon dreams to life - Village Voice
7pm: Jerron ‘Blind Boy Paxton & Terry Waldo Rum House Jass Band,  Blind Boy Paxton is easily the most talented young acoustic bluesman to come along in many, many years - Ben Ratliff, The New York Times
8pm: Native Sun, Untamed energy and garage-rock bona fides- Paste Magazine
9pm:  Katie Von Schleicher, innate and economic pop instincts- Pitchfork
