Tree Lighting Skate-tacular

Tuesday, December 4, 6:00pm–7:00pm

Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park

Tree Lighting Skate-tacular returns on Tuesday, December 4 with host Alan Cumming and performances by Olympic skaters Johnny Weir, Kaetlyn Osmond, Megan Duhamel and Eric Radford, and Jeremy Abbott.

An annual New York City Christmas tradition, Tree Lighting Skate-tacular is led by a celebrity narrator who reads an original Christmas tale. As the story unfolds, the characters are brought to life by world-class skaters performing on the ice, under the stars in the Midtown cityscape. Excitement builds until the finale: the Tree is lit, surrounded by fireworks.

Following the ceremony, all visitors are welcome to skate to live music on the city’s only free admission ice skating rink. Tree Lighting Skate-tacular is presented by Bank of America.

Please note: The Rink closes to the public 2pm day of Tree Lighting. The Pavilion also closes at 2pm, and re-opens 5pm. The Rink will resume public skating right after the show, about 6:45pm.
