We are excited to have our free Tuesday morning yoga class back on the Upper Terrace this summer! Registration is required this year, and please bring your own mat*, water, and a towel as needed. Masks are recommended, and attendance will be capped to allow for proper social distancing.
*Bryant Park is not supplying yoga mats for class. Be sure to bring your own!
Angelica has been guiding bodies through space for over a decade. At 15 years old she became a dance instructor for her local studio. At age 18 she was convinced by a friend to take a yoga class and fell in love with savasana. The feeling of rest after so much movement was euphoric. Over the years she's found movement to be her escape, second home, and source of comfort.
As she began teaching yoga, she found that there weren’t many teachers that looked like her, but there were plenty of students that did. That realization led her to be a full time yoga instructor. Through teaching, Angelica is the representation that she wishes to see on and off the mat, to show that everyBODY can do yoga.
In 2016 Angelica used her summer break from graduate school to obtain her 200HR teaching certification in order to share her love of movement.
To register for classes, click on the buttons above. By pre-registering you are accepting the program’s waiver which can be viewed in details here.
We recommend arriving to class 15 minutes early so you can check in and roll out your mat. Please note: this summer the park is not providing mats, so bring your own!
We are thrilled to continue offering digital sessions on Wednesday evenings at 6pm! If you can't make it to the park, practice with us digitally on our Instagram page @bryantparknyc.
Please join us a few minutes before 6pm on class day on our IGTV or look for a notice on your page that the park is going live.
