We are excited to have our free Wednesday evening yoga class back on the lawn! Registration is required this year, and please bring your own mat*, water, and a towel as needed. Masks are recommended, and attendance will be capped to allow for proper social distancing.

Shannan is a self-proclaimed fitness enthusiast. Fitness and athletics have been a part of her life since before she can remember. She holds a Master of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Westfield State University and a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She started out as a personal trainer and fell in love with all forms of movement and therefore got certified in group fitness, 200 yoga ytt, Pilates as well as several other certifications. Yoga and Meditation have been her passion over the past few years, aligning the physical self with mental awareness. Her goal for fitness is to help and inspire others to find joy in all forms of movement.
Brittany grew up as a competitive gymnast, her passion for health and wellness started at a very young age. In her years as both an athlete and a coach, gymnastics taught her not only about physical fitness but also how important it is to create a healthy mind and body balance. It also showed her how unique and self-healing we are as human beings. This heart-filled drive led her to pursue an education within the Health and Fitness industry. She graduated from Westfield State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Movement Science, with a concentration in Sports Medicine, and continued on to get her Master’s Degree from Northeastern University in Applied Nutrition. After college, she continued to follow her passion and became a NASM personal trainer, which was only just the beginning. During the beginning of her career as a personal trainer, her goal was to help athletes, and individuals of all ages excel and grow through exercise. As her experience within the health and fitness industry has grown, her goal has as well. Her life passion is to help individuals find their true potential within themselves, both mentally and physically. Brittany is a strong believer that in order to create a healthy body, we must also create a healthy mind. After a decade of training and coaching clients, she continued her education with several other certifications, including NASM Fitness Nutrition Specialist, ACE Health Coach, IIN Holistic Health & Nutrition Coach, Polestar Pilates, Yoga, Pre & Post Natal Training, Zumba, and more. Her passion for a healthy lifestyle radiates in her dedication to others, both in and out of the gym.

We recommend arriving to class 15 minutes early so you can check in and roll out your mat. Please note: this summer the park is not providing mats, so bring your own!
