Art Cart

During this two-hour workshop, students explore Bryant Park and collect objects from the natural environment. Participants also use clippings from the park’s gardens (provided by Bryant Park) to create one-of-a-kind photograms in ICP’s darkrooms. This unique process involves placing objects onto light-sensitive photo paper, and then exposing the paper to light, in order to produce an image.

About the instructor: Michael Silverwise earned a BS from the University of Texas, School of Communications, in Radio, Television and Film.  He is a photographer, videographer, educator and adjudicator, and has been a faculty member with ICP since 2001.
