Kindred Wayfarers: William Cullen Bryant and Walt Whitman

"Kindred Wayfarers" is an entertaining pageant celebrating the lives, work and friendship of poets William Cullen Bryant and Walt Whitman, in their milestone birth years, featuring an original theater piece, mural art, live music and dance, two new works based on poems of Bryant, as well as two Whitman-inspired works choreographed by modern dance pioneer Isadora Duncan.  Produced by The Friends of Cedarmere, in partnership with Dance Visions NY, this spectacular event takes place on Bryant Park’s Upper Terrace, on Sunday, September 22 at 2pm. Admission is free and seating is provided.
