This summer, our free Wednesday evening yoga class is back on the lawn! Please register for each class and bring your own mat (the park does not provide yoga mats). We also recommend bringing water and a towel. Our yoga classes are appropriate for all levels of practice.
Eddie Stern, MSc, CYT, is a yoga teacher, author, and researcher based in New York City. He has a multi-disciplinary approach to yoga, combining the study of traditional texts with practical applications to healthcare, scientific research, technology, and collaboration. He has published several scientific papers on yoga, including heart disease, pain perception, and back pain. His books include the best-selling One Simple Thing, A New Look at the Science of Yoga, and How it Can Change Your Life, and his latest is an Audible Original, Healing Through Breathing. Eddie’s teaching practice focuses on simple, accessible yoga, encompassing postures, breathing, meditation, and examining the crossovers between modern science and classical yoga for a holistic, contemporary approach to living a holistic life.
