Bank of America Winter Village Opens Saturday

Colin Miller

The transformation of Bryant Park is nearly complete, and Bank of America Winter Village is ready to open at noon this Saturday, launching another season of free ice skating, gift browsing, and high-quality dining. This year, joining The Rink and more than 170 vendors at Holiday Shops, is The Lodge, a rink-side bar and food hall produced by Urbanspace presenting 12 of the city’s most interesting food concepts.

It all begins at noon on Saturday, and to celebrate, we’re treating the first 100 entrants to a free skate rental, a pair of red gloves courtesy of Bank of America, and a cup of hot chocolate at the Squish S’mores Bar, located in The Lodge.

All the popular features are returning for the 2018-2019 season, including Overlook, our heated observation deck nestled right above the Skating Pavilion. If you’re new to skating, you can learn the basics at Skate School. As the season progresses, look for music performances, the Tree-Lighting Skate-tacular, Winter Kids, and more.

After Opening Day, The Rink and The Lodge are open daily, 8am-10pm, through March 3. The Holiday Shops hours are: Monday-Friday, 11am-8pm, and Saturday-Sunday, 10am-8pm, through January 2. As is the tradition, many of the kiosks will have extended hours as holiday time approaches.
