Vice President, Capital Projects and Maintenance

Mr. Craig LaCaruba, a professional Landscape Architect, joined the Bryant Park Corporation in August 2008 to manage the Capital Project and Capital Maintenance department. He is responsible for project planning, scheduling and budgeting; for project implementation from regulatory and agency coordination to design development through construction; and for technical direction of contractor and in-house work forces on diverse major works projects in the Park.

The portfolio of capital works projects in Bryant Park under his management include the restoration of stairs and pavement, bronze work and limestone balustrades on the 5th Avenue Plaza of the New York Public Library; installation of water, sanitary and drainage infrastructure; major electrical and lighting improvements; renovation of park buildings; conservation of park monuments and fountain; landscape enhancements; and improvements to pavements in the Park's pathways and terraces.

Mr. LaCaruba has over 26 years of professional project management and technical service experience, predominantly in New York City.
