In the summer, swing by the park for free instruction from Knitty City, New York City’s favorite yarn community and store, and knit with fellow enthusiasts. Yarn and needles are provided. Classes in the park are held on the gravel across from the Bryant Park Grill, and are weather permitting.

Take part in beginner classes with Knitty City on the gravel across from the Bryant Park Grill. Volunteers are avalible to teach you how to cast, knit, purl, and more! Yarn and needles are provided.
Donate a scarf for our “Found but Not Lost” program. Scarves will be spread around the park in February. Anyone can take a scarf if you are cold, or give to a person in need.
