Bryant Park is often described as an urban oasis, and this group is one of the main reasons. Our horticulture crews work everyday to maintain 30,000 square feet of garden beds, 2,000 square feet of perimeter flower beds, 200 planters, dozens of hanging baskets, and our magnificent London plane trees.

Sanitation

On most days, Bryant Park is one of the most densely populated public spaces on the planet. The amount of trash generated by these crowds might seem staggering to some, but cleaning it up is all in a day’s work for the park’s Sanitation team. They do outstanding work each day, but work wonders after a large-scale event to make sure the park is ready for more visitors.

When we founded Bryant Park Corporation, one of our most solemn pledges was to make visitors feel safe and secure. Ever since, our Security team has been on the job, diligently looking for any signs of trouble and politely answering any questions. Our files are filled with letters from grateful visitors who have had items they thought lost forever retrieved and returned by a member of this team.

If there was an award for “most smiles produced”, the crew at Le Carrousel would be major contenders. Not only do they operate a busy carousel, they also direct top-notch kids’ entertainment through the year, and produce fabulous parties that kids will remember the rest of their lives.

Our amenity areas and Shop + Info kiosk are all well-attended in the hands of these fine employees, all working hard to ensure the public enjoys the park to the fullest, either by partaking in a fun game or purchasing a souvenir.
