Bryant Park Knits is Back

June 12, 2018

It’s that time of year again. World Wide Knit in Public Day last Saturday was a blast, and now Bryant Park Knits is back as well. The popular free classes, conducted by pros from Knitty City, meet on the Upper Terrace, 1:30pm–3pm, on Tuesdays through August 28.

Besides providing a friendly, inviting atmosphere at which to learn how to cast, this year participants will again produce scarves for the fourth annual Found But Not Lost program, a terrific event when scarves are hung throughout the park on Valentine’s Day and made available for anyone who needs one. If you’re a knitter or like to crochet and want to get involved but can’t make it to the park, email info@urbanmgt.com for information on how to donate a scarf.

If you’re curious, but not sure you want to attend knitting, check out this video.
