Coffee & Crosswords Is Back at the Reading Room

Crossword fanatics, it’s that time of year: Coffee & Crosswords returns to the Reading Room next weekend. For many years, New Yorkers have been coming to Bryant Park, newspaper in one hand, a cup of coffee in the other, grabbing a seat under the trees, and tackling that day’s puzzle. Two years ago, the Reading Room introduced Coffee & Crosswords and it was such a hit that it’s now a September tradition.

The program includes a Workshop facilitated by Puzzability’s Amy Goldstein and Wall Street Journal Puzzle Editor Mike Shenk, followed by a tournament. Here’s the schedule of events:  

• Friday, September 7: Coffee & Crosswords Workshop, 11:30am-1pm

• Saturday, September 8: Coffee & Crosswords Tournament, 10:30am–1:30pm

It’s free and open to all, but you must pre-register. Coffee is provided and prizes will be given out.
