Games and Chess Move to Fifth Avenue Terrace

October 3, 2018

Although big changes are in store in the upcoming weeks as the Lawn is pulled up, fans of Games and Chess + Backgammon can rest easy, because both are moving to the Fifth Avenue Terrace for autumn.

That means that gamers can still choose from more than 50 tabletop games to play for free. Just speak with a Games Host, who can help you get started, explain rules, and help set up equipment. At Chess + Backgammon, the Host can also arrange matches, and even give you detailed advice on your next move.

Both areas move to the Fifth Avenue Terrace, in front of the New York Public Library, starting Saturday, October 13. While there, they’ll be open daily, 11am–8pm, until the weather turns cold for good.
