Introducing Fifth Avenue Terrace Music

September 26, 2018

Summer is over, but music lovers can look forward to free live music at Bryant Park this fall. Fifth Avenue Terrace Music offers live music performed free of charge on the park’s Fifth Avenue Terrace, right in front of the New York Public Library’s historic Schwarzman Building.

The new series presents accordionist trios on selected Mondays, and brass bands on selected Thursdays.  The next installment is this Thursday, September 27, with an appearance by the Shag Horns, an independent and collaborative horn section comprised of some of the finest players from here to Boston.

On Monday, October 1, three female musicians (Erica Mancini, Mary Spencer Knapp, and Rachelle Garniez) perform a selection of avant garde accordion music.

Fifth Avenue Terrace Music takes place near the main steps to the New York Public Library. All performances are 6pm-7pm. Visit our website for the full schedule.
