Juggler Wins Award

April 18, 2018

The International Juggling Association recently bestowed Bryant Park Juggling founder Alex Dyer with its 2018 Excellence in Education award in recognition of his efforts to teach juggling to the uninitiated, and expand the skills of those who already know how to juggle.

What a well-deserved award. Alex and his crew have been giving free juggling lessons at Bryant Park for eight years, and in that time, have helped hundreds of people to acquire this vital skill. We offer our congratulations, as well as our gratitude for bringing so much joy to park visitors.

If you’ve always wanted to juggle but didn’t know how to start, come to Bryant Park and 34th Street! Alex and the guys offer free sessions Monday – Friday, 12pm–1pm; Saturdays, 11am–2pm; and Tuesday evenings, 5:30pm–7:30pm. You can also find Jugging on 34th Street at Broadway Boulevard between 34th and 35th Streets, every weekday from 8am-9am, starting May 1.
