MTA to Link Bryant Park and Times Square Subway Stations

January 28, 2020

Our ears perked up a bit last week when the MTA announced plans to connect the Bryant Park subway station to the Times Square station.

The plan, a component of the MTA’s 42nd Street Connection Project, will link the 1/2/3/A/C/E/N/Q/R/W lines with the B/D/F/M lines, making it possible for commuters to access all combinations of these lines for one fare. The plan also includes a series of underground tunnels stretching along 42nd Street from Fifth Avenue to Eighth Avenue.

We are all for efforts to modernize the city’s infrastructure in order to make urban living less stressful and this project, scheduled for completion in 2022, will do just that. We look forward to sitting atop one of the biggest and busiest subway station complexes in the world.
