New Screen for Movie Nights
June 28, 2018
We made a change with the screen for Bryant Park Movie Nights this summer. The new screen appears on the Bryant Park Stage on Mondays, beams a film to thousands watching from the Lawn, then disappears for a week.
The screen measures 40’ x 27’, and the minimal black frame disappears when the sun goes down, so all the audience sees is a crystal-clear picture generated by our powerful projector.
The new screen is also handy. It takes 30 minutes to install and deflates in about a minute. After we remove it on Monday night, the stage is free for other events during the week. And if there’s no event happening, the unoccupied stage provides a prime spot for visitors to relax and just hang out.
