New York City Opera Presents The Barber of Seville

September 12, 2018

The final installment of Opera at Bryant Park comes to the Upper Terrace next Monday, as singers from New York City Opera perform selections from Rossini’s The Barber of Seville. All fans of opera are invited to enjoy the hijinks of Figaro, opera’s most famous barber, as animated by the great composer’s sparkling music.

The Barber of Seville is performed on the Upper Terrace, 6pm–7pm, on Monday, September 17. This is also the final 2018 Bryant Park Picnics event of the season, so be sure to come out to the park, spread out on the Lawn, and enjoy the world-class performance. Blankets are available to borrow at the Park Shop + Info tent, food curated by Hester Street Fair is available for purchase, as is beer and wine, and the Lawn is dotted with free activities, including juggling and giant Jenga.
