Notre Dame Band to Perform at The Rink
One of the greatest college football traditions of the early and mid-20th century was the appearance of the Notre Dame football team at various venues in the Tri-State Area. That tradition has been recently revived, and this Saturday, the Irish face Syracuse at Yankee Stadium in one of the biggest games of the year for both teams.
There are going to be a lot of fans in town, and to help bring them to fever pitch the night before, the Notre Dame Band is making a special appearance at The Rink at Bank of America Winter Village. The 400-person band will be joined by the team’s cheerleaders, and the Leprechaun himself will even be there.
The band will perform on a carpeted portion of The Rink, which means fans can either enjoy the music while skating or listen from the Deck nearby. Whether you’re a Notre Dame grad or just someone who loves the pageantry and spirit of college football, this promises to be something special.
The Notre Dame Band performance is on Friday, November 16, 4pm-4:45pm.
