Save the Date for Square Dance

The autumnal equinox falls on September 22 this year, and Bryant Park has the perfect way to say farewell to the summer. On Friday, September 21, it’s time for the annual Bryant Park Square Dance.

This is one of the city’s biggest September events. Dave Harvey of NYC Barn Dance is coming back as the featured caller, and we’ll have live music, tons of free activities, including cornhole and trick-roping lessons, and food and beverages for purchase, curated by Hester Street Fair.

Never square danced? No problem – we’ll teach you the steps. No partner? We’ve got that covered too – you’ll meet loads of people, and we’ll match you up. Want to dress festive for the event? You can now purchase a custom Bryant Park Bandana from Bryant Park Shop online to have in time for the event.
