Sign Up for the Curling Mini-Bonspiel at The Rink

If you’re a curler and images of the Olympics in PyeongChang are whetting your appetite for competition, you’re in luck. On Thursday, March 1, The Rink at Bank of America Winter Village is hosting the Curling Mini-Bonspiel, a one-day 12-team competition presented in partnership with CurlNYC.

The Bonspiel is open to all experienced curlers. Teams play two four-end games in a total-points format, and winners take home prizes and big bragging rights. There are still slots open for teams, so pre-register now at Eventbrite. The cost is $250 per team, and sliders, brooms, and stabilizers are available for all players.

The competition runs from 2pm–6pm, and draws are at 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, and 4pm. All players must arrive at least 20 minutes before the match begins. In the event of serious rain, the Bonspiel will be cancelled, and tickets will be refunded. Spectators are welcome and can watch for free.
