Visual Improvements at Joe Coffee
When it opened last year, the Joe Coffee kiosk on the 40th Street Allée was instantly popular, and not only because of the excellent coffee and ice cream it offers. The operators, working with Bryant Park’s own design team, took great care when customizing the kiosk to reflect their needs and aesthetic, and the result was a sharp-looking facility.
Recently, Joe Coffee installed a new glass awning window in the front of the kiosk that provides options for dealing with NYC’s challenging weather, allows for better lighting, and displays product more effectively, even when the window is completely closed.
The window has three positions: open all the way in pleasant weather, closed in cold weather, with a sliding center window allowing for customer-staff interaction, and completely closed at night. Soon to be installed are new lighting features that will work in conjunction with the windows to better light the front counter.
Joe Coffee has been a great addition to Bryant Park’s array of food vendors, and adjustments such as this indicate strongly that the company shares our own commitment to constantly improve the experience for visitors.
