Welcome CAVA to Neighborhood

September 26, 2018

The Bryant Park neighborhood gained another quality lunch spot last week when CAVA opened a 1,511 square foot restaurant at 11 West 42nd Street. The fast-casual spinoff of Washington, D.C.’s Cava Mezze offers “modern, authentic, and vibrant Mediterranean food” with a premium on speed of service, convenience, and variety of ingredients. This brings to four the number of CAVA restaurants in Manhattan, and to 66 the number overall for the fast-growing chain. This CAVA has no seating, leaving more space for lines and enabling the restaurant to prepare more made-to-order meals at peak times.

The menus will be seasonal. This fall, look for roasted Brussels sprouts, butternut squash, carrots and cauliflower; toppings of carrots and currants; Greek minestrone soup; and red pepper chickpea dressing.

We’re thrilled to welcome CAVA to the neighborhood and wish them a long, successful run.
