Yoga Welcomes New Partners

May 23, 2018

The grandest outdoor exercise series of them all returns to Bryant Park later this month when Yoga makes its 2018 debut on May 24. Now in its 16th season, this popular series welcomes yogis of all ages and levels to the park for free classes conducted by some of the nation’s top instructors.

We are pleased to welcome two new partners for 2018. This season, Yoga is presented by KeVita, and the free use of mats is provided to the first 1,200 participants at each class by Gaiam.

The first Yoga session is Thursday, May 24, 6pm-7pm on the Lawn, and is conducted by Bethany Lyons, co-founder of the Baptiste-style yoga studio, Lyons Den Power Yoga. Yoga then meets twice weekly: Tuesdays, 10am–11am on the Upper Terrace, and Thursdays, 6pm-7pm, on the Lawn, through September 20.

You can register for any class beforehand on Eventbrite or just drop in. Get there 30 minutes early to secure a mat, or you can bring your own.

We look forward to another great season of free yoga at Bryant Park, and we thank our new partners KeVita and Gaiam for their support.
