Fun, interactive, & educational summer destination for kids! Arts and Crafts to follow with Kelsey Craftz.

Bird Beak Biology with Christina Kamerow

In “Bird Beak Biology” the audience will be involved in scientific inquiry and investigation around the question: “Why do birds have different shaped beaks?” Kids will be guided through hands-on testing of “beaks” and learn how birds eat in different ways. After this presentation you will be able to make assumptions about the behavior of birds in the wild - the clue is in the beaks!

Tina Kamerow is a creative, passionate and experienced educator. At the Museum of Natural History, she teaches students and families utilizing dioramas within the halls, specimens and live animals. As a life-long learner, she constantly seeks new ways to explore and learn from the people and world around her.
