Othello Begins Friday
The finale to this summer’s Shakespeare series at Bryant Park begins this weekend as The Drilling Company presents a modern take on Othello.
Part of Picnic Performances, this production of Othello is a fresh exploration of the Bard’s timeless tale of betrayal, race, friendship and loss. It’s free and open to all and is performed on the Bryant Park Stage August 30 - September 1 (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), 7pm-9pm; and September 5 - 7 (Thursday, Friday and Saturday), 7pm-9pm.
Picnic Performances presented by Bank of America is an informal and welcoming way to experience world-class performing arts while enjoying a summer picnic. More than 200 blankets are available to borrow at the Bryant Park Shop + Info tent, and food and drink are available for purchase.
