Borrow a set, and enjoy a game outside! Our Chess area has an attendant to assist and oversee games, all ages and levels are welcome.
Please note: per New York City law, gambling is illegal in all city parks. The games area is provided for your recreation and enjoyment, gambling of any kind will not be tolerated; violators will be asked to leave the park.

Chess is located on the north side of the park across from the Reading Room.
Free equipment is provided. Check in with the host for more info, or for assistance with a game.
