Park Tours

Free walking tours led by park staff

Join us for an enjoyable walking tour of Bryant Park, and discover how Bryant Park Corporation successfully transformed a haven for crime and drugs into Manhattan’s Town Square . Our guides are loaded with expertise on the park’s rich history, award-winning design, distinct amenities, and ongoing maintenance efforts.

Tours are held every other Wednesday, year-round (weather permitting), and last approximately 45 minutes. They depart promptly at 11am from the Josephine Shaw Lowell Memorial Fountain, near 41st Street and Sixth Avenue.

Private Tours + Presentations

Parties of six or more can be best accommodated with a private tour scheduled at least two weeks in advance. Private tours are generally paid tours, at a low fee.

We also offer private management presentations for researchers, urban planners, architects, fellow Business Improvement Districts, and other interested parties. We recommend a two-hour session, including a one-hour in-office presentation and Q&A, followed by a one-hour private park tour. Topics include:

  • Funding and sponsorhip
  • Programming
  • Concessions
  • Security
  • Placemaking

Private management presentations are led by a knowledgeable member of Bryant Park Corporation’s executive staff, offering an insider’s perspective on the private management and ongoing maintenance of Bryant Park.
