New York City Opera Performs Carmen

May 23, 2018

Bryant Park Picnics kicks off a full season of extraordinary performances on Monday, May 14 as New York City Opera presents an hour-long adaptation of Bizet’s Carmen. This is a fantastic opportunity to experience a much-beloved opera, performed al fresco by a world-class company, for no charge, in Manhattan’s most beautiful park.

At each Picnics event, Bryant Park lends out more than 200 blankets, on a first-come basis, and food curated by Hester Street Fair is available for purchase. There’s also wine and beer for purchase, and plenty of activities as well.

Carmen is performed on the Bryant Park Stage on Monday, May 14, 6pm–7pm. We invite everyone to come, grab a blanket, get comfortable, and enjoy the show!
