A Night of Ballet

A master class with American Ballet Theatre’s Cynthia Harvey and conversation with ABT Principal Dancers Sarah Lane and Herman Cornejo, followed by performances by New York ballet companies.

Learn ballet moves on the Lawn by participating in a one-night-only master class led by Cynthia Harvey, former ABT ballerina and current Artistic Director of ABT’s Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School. She will be assisted by Richard Toda, ABT Artistic Coordinator of Educational Outreach. No previous experience with ballet is needed, and all fitness levels are welcome. Registration is required at the link below.

Following the master class, ABT Principal Dancers Sarah Lane and Herman Cornejo will share their journeys to the highest ranks of ballet as artist-athletes. To round out the evening, three New York ballet companies perform: CONTINUUM Contemporary/Ballet, Doug Baum & Artists, and Da’ Von Doane & the Artists of the Shift.

Update: Pre-registration is currently full for the Master Class. However, space may open up day-of. If you were not able to register but want to participate, we recommend that you arrive early.

Even if you are not able to register for the Master Class, all are welcome to join at 6:55pm for the conversation with ABT Principal Dancers and to watch the ballet performances.
