Join us at the Art Cart for free workshops all summer long! The Liu Shiming Art Foundation is hosting a public workshop series in collaboration with the Art Cart on Tuesday afternoons from May 26 to June 16. Across four sessions, participants will engage in hands-on processes, including printmaking and clay sculpture, guided by professional instructors. Every participant will leave with a completed piece of work.
In this workshop, learn basic printmaking techniques and translate sculptural form into a two-dimensional graphic language.
What
The Art Cart offers free classes in a wide range of artistic techniques and topics, for a range of ages and interest groups. Visit us on the Upper Terrace, behind the New York Public Library. Registration typically opens one-two weeks in advance.

The Art Cart is open daily 11am-7pm. Find it on the 42nd Street side of the park on the Fountain Terrace behind the New York Public Library.
Registration
We recommend registering in advance but walk-up participants will be accepted as long as there are materials avaliable. Please note that if you arrive more than 30 minutes late, we cannot guarantee a spot for you in the workshop regardless of your registration status.
