About the class:
Learn the basics of watercolor painting with Marilyn Rose, a former Bryant Park Painter in Residence. These small group classes are an intimate opportunity to practice your skills. Both classes are identical. In order for the maximum number of people to participate, participants may only register for one of the two classes. Double bookings will be cancelled.
If you are unable to reserve a spot, we recommend you arrive 15 minutes prior to the class. If registered participants do not show, we may be able to accommodate a small number of walk-ins.
About the instructor:
An accomplished watercolor artist, Marilyn Rose is a signature member of many art organizations including the Catharine Lorillard Wolf Art Club, The Northeast Watercolor Club and The New Jersey Water Color Club. She has won numerous awards in juried shows and plein air events, teaches regular classes in the tri-state area at the Art School at the Old Church in Demarest, NJ and is often asked to give workshops and demonstrations. She is rarely seen without her sketchbook, and she credits urban sketching as visual calisthenics, which helps her to really see and take in her surroundings while sharpening her skills and visual acuity.
