Dance Party returns to Bryant Park and celebrates its 11th anniversary season this summer! Dance Party events take place every Wednesday and Thursday from April 30 to May 15. At each event, attendees meet at the iconic Bryant Park fountain to learn basic steps with expert instructors at 6pm. Afterwards, participants can test out their new moves to live music performed by a diverse selection of bands from 7pm-8:30pm.

7pm: Live Dance Music with Alfredo de la Fé
Salsa solo violinist Alfredo de la Fé is the first Latin Jazz solo violinist in the world. He has over 55 years of experience on stage, during which time he was a member of the legendary Fania All-Stars. He has participated in, collaborated with, and/or directed more than 2,000 productions with artists such as Eddie Palmieri, Héctor Lavoe, and Dizzy Gillespie, among others. This versatile artist is also a music composer for film and television. Alfredo's career has classical roots in Cuba, and he has continued to embrace the urban music of New York, without forgetting the influence that Colombian folklore has had on his music. As a result, he has been recognized worldwide.
