Georgia O’Keefe Series: Colored Pencil

This workshop is based on the work of Georgia O’Keeffe and inspired by the current exhibition at MoMA: Georgia O’Keeffe: To See Takes Time. Over the course of four weeks, we will study the various techniques that Georgia O’Keefe used in her drawings and paintings, and the inspiration behind her work.

Participants will draw from still life instillations as well as subjects within the park. During all workshops we will consider perspective, texture, and color as talking points for creating your drawing/painting.   Materials used, charcoal, color pencils and watercolors.

Suitable for ages 12+.

Taught by Paul Ferrara.
