Kids Week: Earth Day

With spring on the horizon, Earth Day encourages families to learn more about the planet and how to care for it. Kids can create crafts using recycled materials and take part in an interactive performance by eco-rapper Hila the Earth, while parents can participate in a kid and baby stuff swap in Overlook to trade gently used items for kids.

Imagination Playground
Overlook, 9:30am-noon
Warm up from the cold and explore the Imagination Playground, a play space where kids can let their creativity lead the way or follow a prompt set by our daily themes. Celebrate Earth Day by experimenting and building with recycled materials.

Kid and Baby Stuff Swap
Overlook, 9:30am-noon
While kids craft and play, parents are invited to bring gently used items for donation to share with other parents. Bring a sheet to lay out your items, please note that no large items (cribs, strollers, rockers, or baths) are permitted. Remaining items will be donated.

Pond Play
Fountain Terrace, 9:30am-noon
Get to know Bryant Park's iconic fountain by taking part in pond-themed activities. Fountain fishing and planting your own lily pad await you, even during the chill of winter!

Earth Songs and Bars with Hila the Earth
Blue Deck, 10am-11am
Eco-rapper Hila the Earth's interactive performance will make you laugh, dance, and learn something new about our planet.
