Mardi Gras at The Lodge

Back-to-Back Brass Bands with sounds from the Balkans to the Bayou.

Fat Tuesday calls for beats, beads, bites and most of all, brass! Two of New York City’s finest brass bands square off in The Lodge Bar for Mardi Gras, each bringing their unique approach to the Brass Band tradition.

At 6pm, blazing Balkan band Slavic Soul Party! bring the gutbucket funk grooves, Roma (Gypsy) accordion wizardry, and virtuoso jazz chops that have made them NYC’s official #1 brass band for BalkanSoul RomaFunk.

Meanwhile at 7pm, premier party band Shag Horns deliver hot throwbacks from the seventies to the noughties, served up with a NOLA swagger that’ll keep you dancing ‘til the cows come home!

Seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at The Lodge. Purchase of food and beverages is encouraged, but not required.
