“Taste, style, charm, singing, playing – as good as it gets!” - Michael Feinstein

Daryl Sherman has been an integral part of the NYC jazz/cabaret scene since the mid-70s- and is one of the rare singing pianists equally talented in both roles. From early stints at Sinatra jazz hang-outs, Daryl also played most of the major NY hotels and became internationally acclaimed for a stellar 14-year run at the Waldorf-Astoria, where she played Cole Porter’s Steinway. Her versatility has kept her busy performing and recording with artists such as Wynton Marsalis, Artie Shaw, and Vince Giordano and The Nighthawks. Her newest release Lost In A Crowded Place highlights songs by Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, and Duke Ellington, as well as two Sherman originals.

Thank you for the music!

Many thanks to Sam Ash Music Stores for their support through the years.
