Midtown's biggest hoedown returns

For the first time since 2019, Square Dance returns to Bryant Park! Swing on down to midtown’s iconic hoedown and participate in free western themed activities all night long.

The program includes two square dance sessions led by featured caller Dave Harvey, and kicks off with a family friendly performance by Hopalong Andrew. Shasay around the lawn and find a trick roping station, kids crafts, corn hole, and even a mechanical bull!

Country attire is encouraged. Need to accessorize? Bandanas will be distributed on a first come, first served basis and hats will be available for purchase.

Country curated bites by Hester Street Fair will be avalible for purchase, along with beer and wine by Stout NYC.

8pm: Dave Harvey's Second Call

Dave Harvey of NYC Barn Dance is coming back to serve as the featured caller, backed by the Remedies.

Hopalong Andrew celebrates the incredible-but-true multicultural heritage of “The West” and the inspirational "can do" spirit of today's cowpokes from city, country, and all walks of life. His high-spirited concerts are for the whole family to enjoy. Who else will lasso you a cab while playing the “William Tell” Overture on harmonica?
