Yoga with Kristen Kemp

Free Tuesday yoga classes on the Upper Terrace
September 3, 2024, 10:00am–11:00am

This summer, our free Tuesday morning yoga class is back on the Upper Terrace! Please register for each class and bring your own mat (the park does not provide yoga mats). We also recommend bringing water and a towel. Our yoga classes are appropriate for all levels of practice.

Kristen Kemp, an e-RYT 500, is the co-owner of a busy studio in Bloomfield, NJ, called ZURA. She’s studying to be an 850-hour registered yoga therapist, which she hopes to complete this year. She enjoys her role as a lululemon ambassador. Her experience includes 10 years of teaching vinyasa, mindful flow, hatha, therapeutics and meditation. She has taught incarcerated men and women at Hudson County Corrections since 2016. She is honored to teach again for Bryant Park Yoga, and previously led classes at the Yoga Journal conferences in NYC and San Diego. She meticulously plans each yoga session with a special focus on how the movement and message will feel in the body and mind. Each class has a purpose, so clients feel more self-aware, free and centered. She is a longtime freelance writer, currently writing for Yoga Journal online. She resides in Montclair, NJ, with her husband, teenagers and various animals.
